Cloud 29 was founded in 2023 to honor the life and legacy of (store owner) Lindsey's late husband, Investigator Dusty Wainscott, who died in the line of duty from a heart attack on September 8, 2021, while working for the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office in Grayson County, Texas. Dusty was only 38-years-old.
